With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Ann Hemenway of Slayton, Minnesota, born in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clell Kirton and Irene Roth Kirton; her husband Lewis; and her siblings, Rose Kirton, Corrine Kirton, James and Ronald Kirton.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Bose (Todd Rosen) of Slayton, MN and David Hemenway of Slayton, MN; her stepchildren, Lester of Sioux Falls, SD, Jackie Hemenway of Sioux Falls, SD, Kenny of Sioux Falls, SD, Fran Hemenway of Sioux Falls, SD, Phyllis of Sioux Falls, SD and Dave Woldt of Sioux Falls, SD; and her close friend Lawrence Roeder of Slayton, MN.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
