It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Kay Wassenaar of Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Nyssen and Maxine Smith Nyssen; and her husband Sam. She is survived by: her children, Paula Kuperus (Harold) of Brooten, MN, Brenda Schweigert (Bradley) of Fulda, MN, William "Bill" Wassenaar of Slayton, MN, Michael Wassenaar (Angela) of Slayton, MN and James Wassenaar of Glencoe, MN; and her grandchildren, Joseph Caster (Shannon Gohl), Wesley Caster (Danika), Alisa Shaw (Brian), Danyel Suppe (Zach), Marcus Schweigert (Amanda) and Jessica Wassenaar. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
