Beverly Kay Wassenaar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Kay Wassenaar of Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Nyssen and Maxine Smith Nyssen; and her husband Sam. She is survived by: her children, Paula Kuperus (Harold) of Brooten, MN, Brenda Schweigert (Bradley) of Fulda, MN, William "Bill" Wassenaar of Slayton, MN, Michael Wassenaar (Angela) of Slayton, MN and James Wassenaar of Glencoe, MN; and her grandchildren, Joseph Caster (Shannon Gohl), Wesley Caster (Danika), Alisa Shaw (Brian), Danyel Suppe (Zach), Marcus Schweigert (Amanda) and Jessica Wassenaar. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Totzke Funeral Home (2100 Broadway Ave, Slayton, MN 56172). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Slayton Presbyterian Church (2613 Linden Ave, Slayton, MN 56172).
