It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Hecker (Silver Bay, Minnesota), who passed away on August 14, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Clark Russell, Reagan Russell and Ruth Hecker; and her siblings, Janie Dean, James Sander, Jeannie Sander and Janice Maynard.
She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Joanna Hawthorne (Brad), Susanna Fenstad (Mark), Rachel Sherman, David II, Debbie Russell (Mark), Rebekah Fruh (Steve), Angie Parks, James Shaw (Rhea) and Misty Shaw; her daughter-in-law Rebecca O'Hara-Hecker; and her siblings, John Sander of Buhl, ID, Jerry Sander of Buhl, ID, Judy Nolte of Salisbury, NC and Joyce Watkins of Elsmere, KY.. She is also survived by 53 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
