It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Blanche Schlatter of Silver Bay, Minnesota, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Bjerke and Blanche Bjerke; and her siblings, Jeannette Moffatt, Marian Keeney, Albert Bjerke and Gerald Bjerke.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Schlatter; her children, Raymond Schlatter (Peg), Brenda Carlson and Bradley Schlatter (Linda); and her siblings, Evelyn Taylor, Arnold Bjerke (Carolyn) and Velora Handahl (Jim). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
