Sandra Lee Prohofsky Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Prohofsky (Shoreview, Minnesota), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harriette and Leo; her brother Clayton Jacobson; her daughter-in-law Gretchen Prohofsky; her nephew Keith Jacobson; her niece Diane Prohofsky; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce, Melvin Kinzie and Delores Burger.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis Prohofsky; her children, Denise Oslund (Curt), Susan Burgoyne (Joe), Beth Tschida (James) and Michael Prohofsky (Tammy); her grandchildren, Robert Mathisen (Mandee), Katie O'Brien, Laura Horkey (Seth), Matthew O'Brien (Thaiana), Sarah Prohofsky, Jacob Prohofsky, Michael Tschida (Brooke), John Tschida and Daniel Tschida; and her great grandchildren, Azlynn, Audrey, Christian, Jevin and Nathan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shoreview Chapel (515 Hwy 96 W, Shoreview, MN 55126). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to one of Sandra's favorite charities: ● Tunnel2Towers, ● St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, ● Salvation Army, ● Wounded Warriors Project, ● Operation Smile, ● Ronald McDonald House.
