He was predeceased by: his mother Rosie Fagre; his stepfather Bud Fagre; and his father Lester J. Riel. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Carl Wood (Maryann), Melisa Riel, Charlie Riel and Katie Bowne; his stepdaughters, Dionne Riskedahl (Scott) and Sheri Madison (Jason); his grandchildren, Jake, Kassy, Kory, Jason, Andy, Matthew, Rachel, Nathan, Ryan, Dylan, Cameron, Lucas, Alex, Daniel, Taylor and Savanah; his great grandchild Asher; and his siblings, Ronald Riel (Maryjo), Sharon DeLacey (Jim) and Kathy Covill.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peace United Methodist Church (5050 Hodgson Rd, North Oaks, MN 55126).
