He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Palmquist and Myrtle Palmquist (Olson); his parents-in-law, William Miles and Mary Miles (Van Braak); his stepfather-in-law Harold Keller; and his brother-in-law Randall Hildreth.
He is survived by: his wife Kate Palmquist (Miles); his sons, Joseph Palmquist (Shalee Dunaski) of Circle Pines, MN and Benjamin Palmquist (Lindsey Frey) of Bloomington, MN; his grandchildren, Winona, Miles and Felix Palmquist; his sister Joan Palmquist; and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Sally Miles, Tim, Sue Miles, Louise Miles, Tom Heinz, Anne, Wally Everett, Pat, Monica Miles, Margaret Miles, Cathy and Broeke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
