It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valeria Mae Holm (Sherburn, Minnesota), who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Evans and Agnes Evans (Larson); her grandparent Larson; her husband Wendell Holm of John's Lutheran Church; her parents-in-law, Ed and Laura Holm; her siblings, Bill Evans, Sue Boesch and Nancy Knapp; her sister-in-law Lyla Evans; and her grandsons, Jacob and Tanner Holm.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Whisney (Duane), Terry Holm (Lynn), Tim Holm (Tammy), Kevin Holm (Dee) and Jeff Holm (Kelly); her grandchildren, Breanna Shult (Justin), Chris Whisney (Liz), Rachel Whisney (James), Nate Holm (Katy), Noah Holm, Kaleb Holm, Justin Holm (Katelin), Nick Holm (Jordan), Matt Holm (Rachel), Alex Holm, Sammy Holm, Taylor Holm and Austin Holm; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Shult, Brayden Shult, Miller Holm and Odin Holm; and her brother-in-law Paul Holm (Rita). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (317 S Main St, Sherburn, MN 56171). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
