He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Schultze and Delores Schultze (Allison); his daughters, Tammy Sherwood and Holly Brummond; his wife Gail Schultze; and his brothers, Dennis Schultze and Kevin Schultze.

He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Nelson; his children, Kimberly Newville (Michael) of Sherburn, MN, Jenny Tow (Rodney) of Fairmont, MN and Bryan Schultze of Fairmont, MN; his close friend Marilyn Schultze; his siblings, Kris Peterson (John) of Jackson, MN, Karen Erickson of Walnut Grove, MN and Terry Schultze (Myranda) of Cape Canaveral, FL; and his sister-in-law Kaye Schultze (Gayle Schultze) of Ceylon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
