He is survived by: his son Broderick Cook of Welcome, Minnesota; his grandsons, Caleb Cook and Brody Cook; and his stepchildren, Magen Borkenhagen of Granada, Minnesota, Troy Menke of Fairmont and Gavin Flohre of Blue Earth. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
