He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Meyer and Elsie Meyer (Brandt); his wife Valera Meyer; and his siblings, Glen, Lloyd Meyer and Verna Eichoff.
He is survived by: his daughter Darla Runge (Steve) of Sherburn, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kassy Hannegrefs (Jon) of Mankato and Travis Runge of Fairmont, Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Sydnee Hannegrefs; and his sisters-in-law, Lylas Scheff of Fairmont, Minnesota and Betty Scheff of Fairmont, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
