He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Roy Selmer Sr.; his wife Josephine "Jo" Alice Blomberg; his former wife Josephine Stola; his children, Lyle Stola (Tina) of Palm Bay, FL, Julie Masferrer (Mauricio) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Joel Stola (Maxine) of Beltrami, MN, Roseann Rasker (Arn) of Boulder, CO and Paul Stola of Halstad, MN; his grandchildren, Lorenzo Stola, Louis-Antonio Stola (Alicia), Whitney Leedahl (Nate), Amber Stola, Mark Stola (Jackie), Keya Nelson (Jesse), Kasia Moore (Cody), Anders Rasker and Sam Stola; and his great grandchildren, Amayah, Jude, Griffin, Leam, Wyatt, Stefan and Kai.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Gideons Chapters, Zion Lutheran Cemetery of Shelly, or of the donors preference.
