She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sistad and Gladys Sistad (Waale); her grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew Kolness; her great grandchild Charlotte Reeves; and her sister-in-law Marlene Sistad.
She is survived by: her husband Lyman Nygaard of Shelly; her sons, Leslie Nygaard (Carol) of Moorhead, MN and Mark Nygaard of Shelly; her stepdaughters, Julie Nygaard of Fargo, ND and Cathy Kolness (Mike); her brother Virgil Sistad (Diane) of Glyndon, MN; and her aunt Lorraine Knutson of Glenwood, MN. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
