It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William G. Scheurer of Shakopee, Minnesota, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scheurer and Ann Scheurer (Trautmiller); and his brothers, Steve and Jeff. He is survived by: his children, Nathan Scheurer (Rene) of Prior Lake, MN and Lisa Bruns (Eric) of Chaska, MN; his stepson Matt Rice (Kim) of Shakopee, MN; his sister Julie Rein (Scott) of Shakopee, MN; his sister-in-law Rita Scheurer; his grandchildren, Zachary Edberg Anderson and Ryland Rice; his uncle Bucko; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy Scheurer, Amanda Clark (Rein), Josh Douglas and Jason Rein. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation (1220 3rd Ave E, Shakopee, MN 55379). A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Alzheimer's Association in Bill's honor.
