He is survived by: his former wife Marian Welter; his extended family Sundays; his wife Victoria; his children, Tim Mahowald (JoEtta), Sandy Brauson, Randy Mahowald (Lynette), Doug Mahowald (Susan) and Jeff Mahowald (Jodie); his grandchildren, Jessica, Becky, Erica, Amanda, Michael, Ryan, Nathan, Megan, Kaitlin, Jonathan, Julie, Jill, Jaysin, Nick, Jennifer, Jordan, Jackie, Joelle, Joy, Daniel and Jayne; his siblings, Deloris Reed, Al Mahowald, Joe Mahowald (Rose) and Shirley Geiger; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Mahowald, Marlene Mahowald and Frank Glynn; his daughters-in-law, Peggy Mahowald and Kimberly Mahowald; his siblings, Rosina Fessenden, Richard Mahowald (Joyce), Marvin Mahowald, Isidor Mahowald, Joan Glynn, Mary Ann Schafer (Ron) and Donald Mahowald (Bobbie); and his siblings-in-law, Momie Mahowald and Jim Reed. He is also survived by 32 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (833 Marschall Rd, Shakopee, MN 55379). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
