We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024, at the age of 88, Vernetta Lou Edberg of Shakopee, Minnesota, born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Leonhardt and Melitta Leonhardt (Meyer); her in-laws, George and Della Edberg; her husband Ken Edberg; her son Bill Edberg; her daughter-in-law Bernice Edberg; her siblings, Audrey Dellwo, Sally Nelson, Booty Lageson and Reggie Leonhardt; and her brother-in-law Tom Hessian.
She is survived by: her children, Don Edberg of Belle Plaine, Deb Malin (Jon) of Lakeville and Joe Edberg (Valerie) of Shakopee; her grandchildren, Philip Edberg (Jen), Jessica Edberg (Josh), Alice Grisim (Jesse), Shelly Murray-Phillips, Kyle Malin (Alicia), Devyn Malin, Maverick Edberg (Sarah), Jack Edberg (Sydney) and Hannah Edberg; and her sister-in-law Bunny Hessian. She is also survived by her 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
