She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Geigle and Margaret Geigle (Selzler); her son-in-law Brent Minkel; and her brother-in-law Preston Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Ted Olson; her daughters, Charlotte Vierling (Gene), Carol Bartlett (John) and Michelle Minkel; her grandchildren, Robert Olson, Marissa Bartlett, Michael Vierling, Samantha Vierling, Kyle Minkel and Alec Minkel; and her siblings, Shirley Schaffner (Andy), Elaine Speten (Al), Carol Taylor and Violet Ryckman (Jim).

Memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
