Maria A. Stay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria A. Stay of Shakopee, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Maria's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Maria's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Stay; her son Randy Ostermann; her parents, Herman Duede and Anna Duede; and her brothers, Fred and Bob Duede.
She is survived by: her son Gary Ostermann (Colette Sistad); and her grandchildren, Casi and Dylan Ostermann. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Shakopee (119 8th Ave W, Shakopee, MN 55379). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
