She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schaffran and Gesena "Sene" Schaffran (Schmiesing); her husband James "Jim" Valentin; her brothers, Lester Schaffran and Dennis Schaffran; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Valentin and Margaret Anderson.
She is survived by: her sons, David Valentin of Shakopee, MN and Dean Valentin of Rice Lake, WI; her grandchildren, Londyn Valentin of Shakopee, MN, Garrett Valentin of Albuquerque, NM and Lyndsey Valentin of Albuquerque, NM; her sister Darlene Christensen of Hoffman, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Bruno Valentin, Robert Valentin, John Valentin, Martha Keil, Mary Ann Ruhland, Karl Valentin, William Valentin, Walter Valentin, Arnold Valentin and Richard Valentin. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces.
