She was predeceased by: her mother Hannah Ruehling (Scharf); her husband Carl Plekkenpol; her son Robert Plekkenpol (Bob); her siblings, Caldwell Ruehling (Leona) and Betty Jabs (Henry); her grandson-in-law Chris Derendal; and her brother-in-law Fred Koepp.
She is survived by: her sister Mary; her son Roger Plekkenpol (Vickie); and her grandchildren, Bonnie Derendal, Lisa Hovden (Jake), Mike Plekkenpol (Kasie), Richard Plekkenpol (Jena), Neil Plekkenpol, Anna Plekkenpol and Jeff Plekkenpol. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Harriet loved to talk on the phone in her later years especially during the Covid years as she wasn't as mobile.
