George M. Angell Obituary

In loving memory of George M. Angell of Shakopee, Minnesota, who departed this world on January 4, 2025 at the age of 90. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Angell and Ethel Angell (Madigan); his former wife Jane Andrews; his son Kevin; his granddaughter Bailey; his daughter-in-law Karen; his siblings, Nina Taylor, Clara Taylor, William Angell and James Angell; and also, Russell and Faye Andrews.

He is survived by: his wife Kia; his children, Laurie Manthey (Mark), Terri Anderson, Darin Angell (Lori), Tad Angell (Debbie), Pam Thurnau (Tom), Desiree Anderson (Jeff), Gregg Angell (Lisa), Bernadette Anderson (Brad), Lori Hensen (Tom), Mark Moloney (Kenda), Michael Moloney and Kris Moloney (Rebecca); his children-in-law, Francee Angell and Paul Hufnagle; and his siblings, Mel Angell and Emma Rolls. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shakopee VFW (1220 3rd Ave E, Shakopee, MN 55379). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
