It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Hughes of Shakopee, Minnesota, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hughes and Emma Hughes (Karstens); his siblings, Lloyd, Lucille Hughes, Nordella Hotzler (Paul), Helen Frahm (Paul) and Shirley Meier (Duane); and his grandson Alex Hughes.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Lori Sohns and Lee Hughes (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Tony Sohns (Taylor), Kaylee Sohns, Mick Sorenson and Jack Sorenson.
