He is survived by: his fiancée Ruthie Brethorst; his daughter Wendy Roden of Rockford; his grandchildren, Taylor and Amanda Roden; his pets, Bentley and Princess Leia; his siblings, Delores Van Eyll of Waconia, Fran Schuler (Larry) of St. Bonifacius, Ray, Clarice Kirsch of St. Bonifacius and Gerry Kirsch of St. Bonifacius; and his sister-in-law Linette Kirsch of St. Bonifacius. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
