It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Wilhelm Litzner of Shakopee, Minnesota, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maria, Jack Prout, Marion and Russell Litzner; his brother-in-law Mike Patten; and his nephew Grant Wilhelm Greig.
He is survived by: his parents, Delores Litzner (Prout) and Donald Litzner; his wife Jean; his children, Brittany Anderson (Aaron) and Nicholas Litzner; his grandchildren, Jett and Maclan; his sisters, Angie Greig (Ty) and Kristie Spangler (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Samantha Greig, Jim, Mitch Greig and Jordan Spangler; his in-laws, Joan Carbone (Jerry) and James Patten (Anne); and his nieces and nephews, Mitch Patten and Linsey Patten.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship Church (12800 Marystown Rd, Shakopee, MN 55379). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
