She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Kuha and Mary Kuha (Matson); her sons, David and Shannon; and her siblings, Sharon Kuha, Leroy and Kenneth.

She is survived by: her husband Douglas "Doug" Savela; her grandchildren, Trenton and Kaylee; her mother-in-law Laura Savela; and her siblings-in-law, Curtis, Jayson, Lucy, Jane, Lorna and Natalie. She is also survived by her family and friends.
