She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Mattie and Sigrid Mattie (Puttonen Mattson); and her siblings, Verna Ruona-Koski, Verdie Mattie, Eleanor Niemela, Ralph Mattie and Elsie Isola.

She is survived by: her sons, Dale Janson (Marcy), Darrel Janson (Nettie) and Douglas Janson; and her siblings-in-law, Greta Janson, Donald Janson (Gerry), Peter Linden and Raymond Janson (Gloria). She is also survived by ses 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
