She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Bernu; her husband Harold Gilster of Nimrod, Minnesota.; her father Rudolph Ranta; her brothers, Gary Ranta and Gregory Ranta; her parents-in-law, Alfred and Evelyn Gilster; her brother Larry; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Gilster and Rollin Sycks.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Dosdall (Matthew) of Elk Point, SD, Cathy Myers (Keith) of Park Rapids, David Gilster (Karlene) of New York Mills and Daniel Gilster (Tamatha) of Sebeka; her grandchildren, Sara Gilster, Joshua Dosdall (Ulrike), Lauren House (Myien), Malaysia Gilster (Malik Sheppard), Trey Gilster, MacKenzie Gilster, Jayden Gilster, Tucker Gilster and Finley Gilster; her great grandchildren, Melody, Silas Dosdall and Maliyah Sheppard; her siblings, Gloria Huwe (Daryll), Geraldine Morgan (Denny), Gordon Ranta (Barb), Galen Ranta and George Ranta; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Ranta and Doreen Sycks. She is also survived by her family and friends.
