It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Luukkonen of Sebeka, Minnesota, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Watrous and Edith Watrous (Hotchkiss) of Ansonia, Conn.; her husband Luke; her sister Marlene; her brothers-in-law, Steve Wallick of Naugatuck, Conn., Peter Ranno of Naugatuck, Conn. and Gary Wurm of Cedar, Minn.; her daughter-in-law Susan Anderson Craig Luukkonen of Sebeka; and her son David Luukkonen of Sebeka.
She is survived by: her son Duane "Dob" (Susan Stoddard) of Sebeka; her granddaughter Beth; her close friends, Driver, Sweet Adelines, Barbershop, Northern Lights Chorale and Pinochle; her children, James Luukkonen of Sebeka and Beth Kern (Daniel A.) of Wadena, Minn.; her grandchildren, Hope Dumpprope of Duluth and Jake Luukkonen of Minneapolis; her stepgrandsons, Craig Little of Hubertus, Wis, Michael Little of Berthold, N. D. and Thomas Craig of Sebeka; her sisters, Helen Ranno of Naugatuck, Conn. and Carolyn Reichardt of Seymour, Conn.; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Luukkonen (JoAnn) of Brainerd and Linda Wurm of Nevis.
