He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. McCormick and Anna McCormick (Dorn); his daughter Nancy Gilster (Larry); his great grandchild Makenna Arildsen; and his siblings, Liz Wilson (Herb), Jack (Mabel), Link (Edna), Mary Tappe (Clarence), Julia Salo (Leo), Elmer (Evelyn), Bill and Mike (Irene).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; and his children, Patrick (Dianne), Diane Akridge (Paul), Jan, Herb (Theresa) and Ben (Wendy). He is also survived by 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
