He was predeceased by: his father Ervin Siltala; his wife Gloria Dost; and his daughter Rhonda. He is survived by: his mother Millie Siltala (Savela) of Menahga, MN; his children, Shelby (Nathan) of Monticello, MN, Michelle (Jonathan) of Sebeka, MN and Shane (Luann); and his siblings, Dan Siltala (Carol), Dick Siltala (Sharon) and Kay Kreklau (Ernie). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
