We bid farewell to Maxine L. Phelps of Scanlon, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2024 at the age of 97. Maxine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Acker and Inez Acker (Mills); her spouse Coral F. Phelps; and her brothers, Donald and Fordyce.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Phelps and Kimberly Fralich; her granddaughter Amber Male (Justin); her great grandchildren, Braedyn, Braxdyn and Breckyn; her goddaughter Jackie Curtiss (Frank); and her sister-in-law Jean Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Funeral Care (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
