He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hawkinson and Gertrude Hawkinson; his wife Mary Jane Hawkinson of Superior, Wisc.; his grandson Jesse Sather; and his brothers, Kermit Hawkinson and George Hawkinson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hawkinson (Sandy) of Blaine, Larry Hawkinson (Liz) of Mt. Iron, Minn (Peter Hawkinson), Mary Lowney of Superior, LouAnne Sather (David) of Proctor and Teresa Strandlie (Alan) of Marquette, Mich.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and their spouses; 36 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
