She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Stromstad and Helen Stromstad (Evje); her husband Calmer Johnson; her son Grant Calmer; her siblings, Melvin Stromstad (Ruth), Johnny Stromstad (Olga), Walter Stromstad, Dora Opdahl (Alvin) and Edna Stromstad; and her brothers-in-law, Curtis Johnson (Mona), Ray Johnson (Joanne) and Lorne Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughter Claudia Axvig (Jerry) of Moorhead, MN; her brother Raymond Stromstad (Marvie) of Beltrami, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Charlene Stromstad of Fertile, MN, Marlene Johnson and Karleen (Lee). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and their spouses; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
