She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Julien and Henry Julien; her husband Howard Hawkinson; and her sister Joan. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Peper (Phillip), David Hawkinson (Cathy) and Colette Miller (George); her grandchildren, Amy Carlson (Jeff), Brad Peper (Sara), Carly Sohm (Reggie) and Neil Hawkinson (Emily); her great grandchildren, Sam, Lily, Allie, Hunter and Alexis; and her grandson Oscar.

Memorials are preferred to Elim Lutheran Church.
