She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garvey and Ellen Garvey (O'Neil); her husband John Hammer; her siblings, Elmer Garvey (Irene), Margaret Anderson (Ray), Helena Condon (Edward) and Mary Ellen Garvey (Tim); and her sons-in-law, Mark Rausch and Tom Savin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Savin, Margaret Hinke (James), Louise Padfield (Mark), Jane Meitler (Alan) and Joan Rausch; her grandchildren, Michael Savin, Audrey Bell (Anthony), Jonathan Hinke (Erica), Laura Braun (Philip), Elizabeth Sherry (Michael), Brandon Hinke, Jill Padfield, Jeff Meitler (Stacey), Andrea Meitler, Ellen Rausch and Lauren Rausch; and her brother Wayne Garvey (Gail). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union, Central Province, St. John the Baptist School or to a charity of your choice.
