He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Swanson and Grace M. Swanson; his grandson Samuel Taylor; and his siblings, Thomas and Tincie Hutson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Swanson; his children, Lee, Gary, Robert and Dawn Taylor; and his sister Lonnie Rodenborn. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. John the Baptist Church school fund.
