He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Nelson and Palma "Polly" Nelson (Bjerke); and his son Chad Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Marge Nelson (Sivertsen) of Savage, MN; his daughter Stacey Garcia (David) of Savage, MN; and his grandchildren, Jesse Nelson (Monica), Madi Garcia and Dawson Garcia.
