She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ferrill and Mable Ferrill (Baker); her husband Lawrence E. Stone (Larry); her brother Howard Ferrill; and her daughter Susan Diane Stone.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Julia A. Albertson (Dean); her grandchildren, Gwendolyn L. Miller (Jonathan), James W. Buchanan (Melissa), Elizabeth J. Buchanan (Amy Lawler), Addison F. Stone-Yeck and Katherine Rose Sheehan (Jason); her son-in-law John F. Yeck (Melissa Cohen); her great grandchildren, Madeleine E. Miller, Willa F. Buchanan, Maya S. Montalbano and Fynn J. Sheehan; and her sister Shirley Griggs.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (601 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
