He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maiers and Shirley Maiers (Schneider). He is survived by: his wife Nadine Studer; his children, Nicole Sarenpa (Tony) of Orono, Adrienne Ero-Phillips (Sam) of Minneapolis and John Thomas "JT" Maiers of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Halle, Amelia, Jacqueline Sarenpa, Aria and Ollie Ero-Phillips; and his siblings, John Leo of Sartell, Karen Huot (Steve) of Minneapolis, Patti Donlin (Mike) of LeMars and Joan Miller (Tim) of Sartell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
