He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wesenberg and Ida Wesenberg (Saeger); his son Nick; and his siblings, Martin, Harvey, Rudy, Evie and Ruby.
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Lies of Sartell; his children, Sharon Ethen (Dennis) of St. Cloud, Peggy Wesenberg of St. Cloud, Julie Counter (Dan) of Sartell, Lisa Hamann of Sartell and Roy Jon Wesenberg (Andrea) of Sartell; and his grandchildren, Chris, Natasha, Amber, Jeremy, Nathan, Hunter, Garrett, Calvin, Kami, Ruby, Lily and Piper. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Sauk Rapids (324 2nd Ave S, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379).
