She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schlangen and Mary Schlangen (Strietz); her husband Albert Wlaznak of Mary's Cathedral; her daughter Teri Davis; and her siblings, Donald, Faith Rosales, Mildred Pritchet and Ruth Mcardle.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Walter of Sauk Rapids, Ruth Boyle (Patrick) of Eagan, Jane Vise of St. Cloud, David (Myong) of Royalton, Mary Buckland of Sauk Rapids, James (Deborah) of Sauk Rapids, Carolyn Wlaznak (Todd Bender) of Burnsville, Monica Charlebois (Michael) of Pinehurst, NC and Laura Wlaznak of Minneapolis; her siblings, Bernice Herman of Danville, IL, Mae Nielsen of St. Cloud, Louise Mayer of California and James Schlangen of Rice; her grandchildren, LeeAnn, Meredith, Shannon, Kelsey, Ian and Aaron; and her great grandchildren, Samantha and Amaya.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2875 10th Ave NE, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mn State Veterans Cemetery.
