She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Hommerding and Catherine Hommerding (Jones); her siblings, Sonny, Harold, Quinton Hommerding and Lavonne Buttweiler; her son-in-law Daryl Harmdierks; and her grandson Jacob Barsness.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Thompson of Sauk Rapids; her children, Kay Johnson (Jeff) of Breezy Point, Kim Christianson (Keith) of Bemidji, Todd Thompson of Monticello and Nikki Klehr (Jamie) of Richmond; her brother Hurley Hommerding (Mary) of Sauk Rapids; and her grandchildren, Kirstie, Joshua, Zachary, Allison, Logan, Brooke, Braden, Jesse, Abby and Brady. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
