He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Merdan and Martha Merdan; and his sisters, Marilyn Merdan and Millie Keller. He is survived by: his children, Nikki Holm (Jon) of Becker, MN, Shawna Merdan (Rick Paggen) of St. Stephen, MN and Trista Merdan of St. Cloud, MN; his sister Marlene (Glenn); his daughters, Margie VanHeel (Ben) of Echo, MN, Myra Lukaswicz (Mike) of Greenwald, MN, Michelle Black (Stephen) of Bristol, TN and Marsha Blonigen (Mike) of Albany, MN; and his brother Melvin Merdan (Kristi) of Sartell, MN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (1111 25th Ave S, St Cloud, MN 56301).
