It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce E. Lanz (Sauk Rapids, Minnesota), who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce E. Lanz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Durant and Dorothy Durant (Zimmerman); her husband James Lanz; and her siblings, Eddie, Irvin, Eugene, Beverly and Elizabeth.

She is survived by: her children, Jim of Sauk Rapids, Charlotte Zirbes of Monticello, Jerry (Corrine) of Sauk Rapids, Gene (Stephanie) of Sauk Rapids and Barb Kleinschmidt (John) of Helena, MT; her siblings, Jeanette Bischoff of St. Cloud, Everett Durant of Onamia, Jackie Giddings of Onamia, Sharon Kroska (Cy) of Avon, Gary Durant of Rogers and Maureen Meyer (Ronnie) of Pierz; and her brother-in-law Louie Walker (Pat) of Rice. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Croix Hospice and Alzheimer's Association.
