He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mendel (Joe) and Mary Ann Mendel (Germann); and his wife Sandra Klein. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Kraemer (Brandon) of St. Cloud and Jordan Mendel of Sauk Rapids; his grandchildren, Alexus, Kierah, Kameron and Kristal; his great grandchild Grayson; and his siblings, Bev Polikowsky (Big John) of Royalton, Jay Mendel (Cindy) of Otsego, Sandy Falconer (Jeff) of St. Cloud, Jon Mendel of Sauk Rapids and Jeremy Mendel (Karen) of St. Cloud. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2163 Mayhew Lake Rd NE, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
