He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae "Anne" Girtz of Sauk Rapids; his children, Crisandra Thornton (John) of St. Louis Park and Tracey MacDonald (Richard) of Sauk Rapids; his grandchildren, Megan, Nicholas (Yisseth), Olivia and Noah; and his sisters, Lucille Skiba of Foley and Violet Lockhart of Sauk Rapids.
