He is survived by: his wife Bonnie of Sauk Rapids; his daughters, Desiree Spoden (Jim) of Sauk Rapids, Tina Lee Schlichting (Sandy Caviani) of Sauk Rapids and Kimberly Butler (Christopher) of Seattle, WA; his siblings, Dennis "Jock" Schlichting (Marguerite), Ronald Schlichting (Donna), Kathy Eiynck (Al), Edward Schlichting, Jr., Robert Schlichting (Janet), Steve Schlichting (Carol), John Schlichting (Mary) and Joann Anderson; and his grandchildren, Mathew, Carly, Nicholas, Sophie and John Paul.
