She was predeceased by: her parents, August Janssen and Elizabeth Janssen (Hagemeier); her husband Herbert Hilsgen; her daughter Anita Levandowski (Phil); her siblings, John Janssen, Leo Janssen, Ambrose Janssen, Ann Brown, Gertrude "Trudy" Schroeder and Walburga "Wally" Nohner; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Hilsgen.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Hilsgen (Debra) of Houston, TX, Robert Hilsgen (Melissa) of Sartell, Glen Hilsgen of Rockville, Bruce Hilsgen (Carrie) of LaSalle, IL, Yvonne Rothstein (Dave) of Sauk Rapids and Sheila Chavez (Virgil) of Las Lunas, NM. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
