With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elaine A. Winter of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Strobel and Irene Strobel. She is survived by: her children, Carol Loso (James), Mary Hoeschen, James Winter (Marcia), Barbara Keller (Jay), Diane Winter and Pamela Kieser (Mark); her brother Donald Strobel (Betty); her husband Leonard; her son Keith; her son-in-law James Hoeschen; and her siblings, Francis Strobel, Helen Moehring, Jean Leonhardt and Marion Helget. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home Chapel (1115 4th Ave N, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Star Legacy Foundation (400 Flying Cloud Drive, Suite 225, Eden Prairie, MN 55344) to support research and families who have experienced loss.
