She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hoekstra and Clara Hoekstra (Westra); her spouse Edman Lezer; her brothers, Clarence Hoekstra (Betty) and Ted Hoekstra (Delores); her brother-in-law Charles Peterson; and her in-laws, Esther Kasperk (Gale), Donna Foss (Al) and Danny Lezer (Rendy).
She is survived by: her children, Doug Lezer (Lori) and Nancy Dahlstrom (Dean); her grandchildren, Ryan Lezer (Nicole), Cody Lezer (Jenny), Amy Hageman (Ben), Kayla Ash (Carter), Darin Dahlstrom (Abby), Megan Ziwicki (Zack), Kimberly Valanzasca (Felix), Sherrie Beck (Matt) and Tammy Jurek; her great grandchildren, Kyla, Leddy and Roux Lezer; her grandchildren, Lydia, Logan, Dylan Lezer, Caden, Rowan, Landon Hageman, Brinley, Levi, Adelyn Ash, Theo, Thatcher Dahlstrom, Asher Ziwicki, Luca, Jax, Ini Valanzasca, Nick and Abby Beck; her sisters, Martha Peterson and Connie Johnson (Mark); her in-laws, Jim Lezer (Mary Lou) and Dennis Lezer (Gwen); and also Tim Jurek (Marcia). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the New Life Church (931 Norman Ave N, Foley, MN 56329). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
